19.05.02 Salon Series PLAIN.png

salon is an informal meeting of fashionable writers or artists, which is held at the house of someone who is well-known. Let’s consider ourselves both fashionable and well-known (whatever that means to each of us), and get together for good conversation.

Salons are both gathering and discussion. There is nothing to prepare, and no content to learn. It is simply an opportunity to be with others interested in the topic. Bring yourself, your experience, your questions, and your heart.

Salons are capped at ten people so register soon!

May 30, Thursday, On-line
6pm-7:30pm Central Time

Meet with a small group of no more than ten people to talk about how your faith (whether religiously-based, spiritually-based or otherwise) shapes how you approach your work. Meet with a small group of no more than ten people to talk about how you work - or want to work - healing opportunities into your evaluation or social change work. Many of us find healing work essential, but we were not trained to think about this a part of our work. This salon gives you a chance to find others who want to explore this aspect of themselves.

Sept 19, Thursday, On-line

Experiencing grief and loss is part of the human conditions. We can choose to ignore these feelings and live by the adage that “time heals all wounds” or we can choose to heal on purpose—by purposefully healing and by engaging in work that helps us fulfill our life’s purpose. No matter how small or large, clear or murky that purpose may be.
